Check Yourself

CheckYourself.Today is a province-wide campaign developed by CBRC in partnership with Health Initiative for Men (HIM) that serves as a resource for gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (gbMSM), including trans and Two-Spirit people in British Columbia.

There are a variety of sexual health options for gbMSM in BC, and this campaign aims to increase the community’s awareness and access to each option.

CheckYourself.Today presents gbMSM with a helpful list of sexual health tools currently available in BC and provides accurate information regarding each tool (condoms, regular testing, HPV and Hep Vaccines, pap tests, HIV Meds, PrEP, and PEP).

The aim is to guide folks to more easily decide what combination of tools or strategies are right for them, including PrEP. If you’re wondering how to get started on PrEP, CheckYourself.Today hosts the first online directory of clinics in BC that offer PrEP referrals or can prescribe PrEP directly.
