Summit 2023 took place in person in Vancouver from November 16-17. The conference highlighted critical perspectives, research, programming, and advocacy initiatives that underscore the importance – and power – of queer, trans, and Two-Spirit people mobilizing together for our health and well-being in the face of rising hate against 2S/LGBTQIA+ communities.

Topics included conversion practices, supporting victims of hate crimes, approaches to HIV/STBBI treatment, chemsex and harm reduction, and many others. This year’s keynote speakers were Teddy Syrette, Fae Johnstone, Alexandre Dumont Blais, and Bilal Baig. Check out the full program here for descriptions of each session.
